President Donald Trump said Iran….

President Donald Trump said Iran may have been connected to an incident in which a pilot was allegedly accused of attempting to crash a plane traveling from Dubai to Israel earlier this week.

When asked by reporters about the incident, Trump said, “Based on what I’m hearing, the answer may be yes,” adding that his administration is currently investigating the matter.

Trump also said he had spoken at length with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about the incident.

Meanwhile, Trump told Time magazine that he rejected Iran’s latest peace proposal, saying it was “not nearly good enough.”

He said one of the reasons for rejecting the proposal was that it would only reopen “some aspects” of the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump also told Time that he would not accept any proposal from Tehran that he would not have approved a year ago. He further said that the United States could potentially resume airstrikes against Iran following the November midterm elections.
