NO MORE TAX ON SOCIAL SECURITY AND NO MORE PROPERTY TAX FOR SENIORS OVER 65 YEARS OLD! DO YOU SUPPORT THIS?

They taxed the paycheck. Then they taxed the retirement check. Then they taxed the house. Stop pretending that is compassion. A man who punched a clock from 1968 to 2012 did not “get a benefit.” He bought an annuity from the federal government at gunpoint, and Washington still skims it if his other income crosses a line drawn when Reagan was in office.

Couples can see up to 85 percent of those benefits dragged into taxable income. That threshold was never indexed like a normal tax bracket. Inflation did the collecting.

The 2025 law moved the needle. Six thousand dollars off taxable income for each senior, on top of the regular standard deduction and the old age add-on, available whether you itemize or not. Average beneficiaries, the White House argues, now clear the federal tax on the check itself.

Good. Not finished. The deduction dies after 2028 unless Congress extends it, and the underlying tax on benefits is still sitting in the code. Campaign promise was elimination. Delivery so far is a four-year patch. Seniors should demand the patch become permanent and the tax itself get repealed the moment the rules allow.

Property tax is the quieter robbery. Federal itemizers got a SALT cap lift from $10,000 to $40,000, which helps some homeowners deduct more of what the county already took. It does not stop the county from taking it. School boards and town councils raise the levy, then act shocked when a widow lists the house. Support means two fights: kill the federal tax on Social Security, and force states to shield paid-off senior homesteads. Are you in, or are you fine watching them sell?
